I realise that, I should have highlighted ‘ANY’ in my comment above. I thought there was at least one teaching hospital in Britain, remember seeing a programme on Discovery Channel? My idea was that one should look for a practitioner certification from one of these hospitals. Otherwise it’s just a shot in the dark.
In England, it seems at any rate, that ANYONE can set themselves up in the cosmetic medicine industry.

This has actually happened to a friend of mine. The stress caused and later the embarrassment of attending another doctor to rectify the problem is really acute.

I think not – that’s what the discussion is about. It’s frightening to think that one can attend a doctor, believing them qualified in the field, and later find they have little or no experience.
