during a recent trip in Asia i was surprised at how easily accessible plastic surgery was for everyone… infact its not known as sugery, its called “beauty therapy” in some places.

@minjee90 plastic surgery in the philippines is not a form of shame…why do you think there are plastic surgeons in the philippines nowadays if performing it to a person would make the person feel shameful? plastic surgery is just a way to remove the insecurities of a person…it’s a matter of personal preference…just because someone got a plastic surgery doesn’t mean he/she deserves criticism or shame from other people…

Thank you God that so many people are against Korean plastic surgery! I am white and as a kid I got ~switched~ with a Korean couple. They tried to pass me off as Korean, hahaha! Yeah right. Of course no Korean believed them. But outside of Korea, many people don’t know the truth. Now I am confident and assertive enough to stop the deception and get help!

yeah that’s true but there are some exceptions. My sister was born with huge eyes with double eyelids and has a perfect “v-line” face. It makes me jealous. I don’t have the slant eyes or a big face/cheekbones but I don’t have the double lids either.

Im asian and soo many ppl around me are against plastic surgery. they are like “how can you put your face under knives cause its gift from your parents” blah. i am not against plastic surgery, i think its ppls choice but im just generally telling a fact that plastic surgeries arent common in asia.

Not all of is do plastic surgeries even if some Koreans do, it’s just small surgeries like ur eyes done and nose and I will do my eyes when I turn 16

Some people use sugery kind of like therapy. Picked on as a kid etc. I’d have to clean that out of my closet before body modification personally though. If you do something for the right reasons then no prob, but people have a hard time separating their emotions and so forth.
