Cosmetic Surgery UK Archives

I live in Uk. Recommendations recommended!!

Cheaper? YES!
Better ? Maybe not, depending upon the individual surgeon and the medical treatment facility and the costs associated with necessary travel, lodging, and incidental costs.

I have looked up a company in Paris to have a breast enlargement as it is a lot cheaper than the UK,
i know there are risks having surgery abroad, but its not that far from England and its still in Europe…
Would it be a good idea to go to Paris or save up longer and have it done in the UK???

i would save up and do a lot of research.im not against plastic surgery i wouldn’t mind getting some, but i’ve heard so many horror stories.

Am I a good candidate for cosmetic surgery?

I want to have a breast augmentation and a tummy tuck. I have had two boys and my breasts have gotton smaller each time. They are a 34AA now. My stomach isn’t fat it is just extra skin that is all wrinkled up. Am I a good candidate?? If not what can i do about my stomach? Also what is that cheapest way to do it in the UK???

your the same as me and Ive only had the one child, i really want a tummy tuck and breast enlargement as well. Ive had a free consultation at the Harley medical group, i was quoted around £4000 and that was only for a mini tummy tuck, but i just cant afford that I’m only 19 and my daughter is 1 and I’m only in part time employment. here is a link for you to look through.

Cosmetic Surgery Liposuction

Cosmetic surgery liposuction is the type done purely to make someone look better, or feel better about their appearance. It is not a NECESSARY procedure in that no one is going to die if they do not get this surgery. However, it is chosen for reasons of vanity rather than health.

Liposuction is the removing of fat from deposits that are located under the skin. This is done through the use of a hollow stainless steel tube, or a cannula, and a very powerful vacuum. This procedure is done while the patient is fully under general anesthesia, heavily sedated with an IV, or is under a local anesthesia. You and your surgeon can decide which will be best for you.

Cosmetic surgery liposuction carries the same risks as any type of surgery. Just because it is being done for cosmetic reasons does not make it any safer or more dangerous than any other surgical procedures. You should be well aware of all of these risks before committing to the procedure.

There are two methods of doing liposuction. These are called the tumescent technique and the modified tumescent technique. When undergoing the tumescent technique there will be a large amount of highly diluted anesthesia injected into the fat. This causes the fat to become firm and swollen. This method of cosmetic surgery liposuction is believed to be safer because the local anesthesia lasts longer and usually eliminates the need for narcotic pain killers after the surgery is completed.

A couple of risks associated with this type of procedure are too much fat being removed and ending up with unattractive scarring. The removal of too much fat is very dangerous and can lead to many complications. Scarring is typically caused by the inattention of the surgeon to detail. A good question to ask yourself is just how much do you trust your doctor?  You certainly do not want to have your appearance or your life resting in the hands of an overworked surgeon who has tried to do too many procedures in one day. Therefore, when you make the decision to undergo cosmetic surgery liposuction, be very sure that you are in the best possible hands.

You want to come out of this procedure looking amazing and feeling better about yourself so do not take any chances. If you are not one hundred percent confident in your surgeon and his or her abilities, move on to another one. This needs to be a POSITIVE experience for you.

Does this type of cosmetic surgery exist?

Can you have this sort of cosmetic surgery;

Fat is taken from an area in your body (eg thighs, stomach) and injected into your boobs.

Can you have that done in the UK?
Thanks. =]

hey,
yes, this is a possible procedure, but it is hardly ever performed. most girls who want bigger boobs also want them to be firm. this is where the silicon bags come into the picture. these bags (whatever size you want) are placed into your breasts.
for you, i would recommend getting liposuction (from whatever area) and then getting the silicon bags placed in your breasts), it doesnt even have to be two separate surgeries. Its a 2 in 1 deal lol.

because, if you get fat injected into the breasts, they will probably sag.
Yes, you can have this procedure done in the UK, just find a good plastic surgeon online.
good luck =]

Surgery destroyed his looks. He was clearly very aware of this, often opting to cover his face, particularly his nose and eyes.

This is an artists impression of a 50 year old Jacko, without having had any cosmetic surgery. What do you think?

Yeah he would have looked better. He was SEXY back in the 80’s. But even if he didn’t get plastic surgery he wouldn’t have look as good as he looked then, because he was in his 20’s back then and in his prime…But he would have looked a hell of a lot better…

Child cosmetic surgeons in UK?

Hello all,
Would any of you know of Any cosmetic surgeons in the UK that allow children to have cosmetic surgery done? Like a nose reshape and things like that?
i would only want serious answers… don’t be stupid about it please!
Thanks, :) x
To M M…
No it’s not stupid. That term should be used on someone like you!
It is Because she is getting bullied bcause of it!

not unless there is a medical reason

Apparently cosmetic surgery is largely unregulated and is leading to poor practice. In addition the procedures are being advertised and marketed on a massive scale.

Have you or anyone else you know had a facelift or other cosmetic surgery? Do you know anyone who’s had minor surgery such as lip plumping or botox? Did they look better or worse, and do you know of procedures that went wrong?

Blimey. It would be quicker for me to list the people I know who haven’t had surgery or botox (well, amongst the women, anyway.)

Every other one of my mates has had a boob job. Some are ok, some are truly revolting (fat birds should never get boob jobs – think Natalie Cassidy).

I know several women who have regular fillers and botox – again, some look great, some just look ridiculous.

Don’t know anyone who’s had a face lift but I know a couple of post-baby tummy tucks – they both look sooooo much better.

I’d never critise anyone for wanting to look their best but (like Skidoo) I’ve been under the knife several times myself and wouldn’t be too keen on doing it by choice!

Read an interesting article recently saying that we (women especially) can become anaesthetised to the effects of surgery and botox – take LA for example, because there’s so much of if around, the women don’t seem to realise how silly they look, all their mates look exactly the same! They think it’s normal to not be able to move your face. Personally I can’t think of anything worse but like I say … each to their own.

Hello everyone

I am a freelance journalist, potentially writing a feature for a UK national newspaper, exploring a research report. This report finds that women who have had cosmetic surgery (like breast augmentation) tend to have higher rates of suicide and depression than the rest of the population.

I am interested in talking to women who have felt the need for cosmetic surgery to find out whether the surgery has actually helped them improve their self-esteem, or whether they still battle depression or suicidal feelings after having had the surgery.

I am also interested in talking to women who have had breast implants in the past and have since attempted suicide, or relatives and friends of women who have successfully committed suicide and who also had cosmetic surgery at some point during their life.

I had breast augmentation when i was 29. i ve never liked my body. having a twin with natural beautiful breast was also very unfortunate . A BET with some male friends was the final blow as i had to strip when loosing the bet, and i did…..from small B cup to a big C cup. BUT when i had to do this stripact i felt as insecure as before this time i totally freaked out about my strechmarks and cellulitis and my spiderveins and i didnt want them to think i had fake breasts so i felt even worse than before……so the fatc that i have nice breasts doesnt take away my insecurity about above facts…….i still have a low selfesteem and I only see the uglyness. outside and inside. I think it is my upbringing i never heared i was beautiful and if guys tell me know they like my breasts i think they are not mine……so it doesnt give my satisfaction. i hope i can have more treatment for above bodyfaults i still belief i will be happy if i have beautiful legs. i want to belief this.

I’m pretty content with my breasts (they’re a UK 34DD), but I hate my nose and I’d consider surgery :\

I’ve had cosmetic surgery on my teeth already. – whitening.

You?

Maybe butt implants. I wanna be a big booty judy :P
